About Us

The Commonwealth of Kentucky has a disproportionately high incidence of lung cancer. Mortality from lung cancer exceeds the deaths from breast, colorectal, prostate and pancreatic cancer, combined. In an effort to improve survival of Kentuckians with lung cancer, the Kentucky General Assembly of 2000 established the Lung Cancer Research Fund (the Fund).
