Governance Board

A Governance Board, appointed by the Governor, guides the use of KLCR Program funds so that Program activities are consistent with the directives of the General Assembly. The Board allocates these research funds to the Universities to conduct research that will reduce the morbidity and mortality from lung cancer.

There are nine members of the Board with representatives from the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, the State-at-Large, the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. (KRS 164.476)
